Have you done a hardware test to see if your memory is ok & installed in the right place?

Are you using a lot of plugins?

I’ve had this low memory thing before, but I knew what it was for.
I have too many projects and sequences open and thus got the error warning.
closed a lot of unecessary stuff up and problem fixed.

[nikei] “I have 3GB of RAM which should not give me out of memory problem for 20 minute length project.”

What types of hard drive array are you using?

3gb of RAM is essentially the bare minimum necessary to run FCP on a MacPro. If you have any other processes or apps running your system will begin caching to hard drive, and unless you have a very spiffy hard drive subsystem your machine won’t be able to keep up with all the calls to disk and RAM.

    Thanks for reply.
    1. I am not using any application along with Final Cut Pro.
    2. I have installed some plug-inns. But same set of plug-inns are in anther system with no issue. But still I will remove it and try.
    3. I have replaced my memory chips
    4. I have 500×3 SATTA internal raid storage.

    Regards
