Google Earth KMZ files into FCP
I’d like to import Google Earth KMZ movie files into FCPX. Is there a (best) way/conversion to do this?

It’s been a while since I’ve used Google Earth, but isn’t there a way to export Quicktime movies from the application? Save them out as ProRes files and they should import into FCPX just like anything else

I was searching for a solution to this problem
Old solution:
- Found that Quicktime screen capture was being recommend in the past.
Newest solution:
- Since Google Earth Pro is now free, you able about to create Movie from a “Tour” (Add / Tour).
Steps:
- Make you tour: Go to Add / Tour and create your Google Map tour
- Make your movie: Go to Tools / Movie Maker. Lots of formats to choose from in thet setup.
- Import to FCPX
