goodmans guide vari cam
hi, i am going to shoot a documentary on panasonics varicam in october.
i shot a lot with sonys 750 / 900 but this time we like to use the varicams ability for different frame rates.
i heard about the book, goodmans guide varicam panasonic.
i love to have something like a guidebook while shooting. for sony i generally use paul wheelers books…
the only problem i see is that there is no possibility to get one!!!so my question is there a chance to get one somewhere,before middle of october or
are there some books that are equal to this one??? -

Goodman’s Guide has no equal.

I don’t think you can actually buy anything directly from Panasonic. That’s just an online price list. I think they’ll still just send you the contact info to a dealer who will not have it in stock but, will be glad to order it. Month later you might have your book.
I ordered mine from http://www.fletch.com . They have them in stock and I bet could be talked into overnighting it.

Yes call Fletcher Chicago, 312-932-2700. If I remember correctly they had a few in their show room when I was there not to long ago.

Fletcher stocks both of the Goodman Guides one for the Varicam and one for the SDX900.From IBC
