good resource/book on expressions
I’ve been putting it off for about 10 years, but since it appears that expressions is here to stay I’d like to finally learn how to use them worth a darn. Is there a good book, tutorial, DVD, or web site for just getting the gist of this stuff? Enough to know if an expression would be appropriate in a situation and maybe some basic examples, etc.
A book from a brick and mortar would be great as i’m sitting around for the next couple days.

The COW’s AE Expressions Forum is a great resource and Marcus
Geduld has a dedicated Expressions book. JJ Gifford has a very well-structured inroduction at https://www.jjgifford.com/expressions/There are other non-COW related sites – Google and you should find a couple of good ones.
