  • Good online sound effects and music library

My music/effects library is getting old and stale. Can anyone here recommend good sources to buy online:

    – wooshes & transitional sound effects (high quality, modern)

    – music (well produced, high quality, doesn’t sound canned)

I’m not interested in free resources, I’d prefer to buy the music/effects (rights and all) online, download and insert into my production(s).

I’m really interested in quality and ability to download/buy only individual clips, not entire CD’s. Totally don’t want to get a library shipped to me on compact disc format, I have a lot of those already.

    Any recommendations appreciated.

Check out my Audio Resources page for such things, but in the meantime, take a look here: https://www.sound-effects-library.com/index.asp

I agree with TimK, SoundDogs is great. Easy to use and
    reasonably priced.

SmartSound has a couple of good sound effects CDs
    for use with SonicFire.

Thanks for the links guys, if anyone else has experiences with good stock music/fx libraries and highly recommend someone, please post.

Also, if anyone can recommend a good CD collection, especially for wooshes, hits and transition effects, I’d appreciate it.

Just thought of another one that I have.
The soundFX library from Digital Juice is great.
They were offering it for $249… But I think it
is now back to around $500. It has over 9000 different
    sounds.
