  good consumer scanner

  I’m about to archive old photographs for a library archive, and my HP 6210 scanner isn’t up to the specs required:

  600 lpi (same as dpi?)
  24 bit color
  color profile: Adobe RGB (1998)
  8 bit file

  Macbook Pro 2.2 Intel Core 2 Duo/4 GB/OS 10.6.6
