I am working at home with an iMac and an external FireWire drive for a scratch disk. This set-up works fine for my current project, which is DV. However, I plan to start a project that I have to finish in SD 8-bit uncompressed. I can up-res at work without a problem, but will DV’s 720×480 pixel aspect ratio screw me up when I try to online? Will graphics be off? Is there a compression of comparable quality that creates a better workflow for offline/online projects? Thanks a lot.
