Thanks John – I actually found a youtube video that showed me how to create a folder (I called it VST Plug-Ins) in my program folder on the “C” drive. I put the BIAS.dll in there. Launched Vegas and navigated to that folder. It worked! So everything is working.

For whatever reason, I could not find a “VST” folder in the Sony main folder. I saw “Video Plug-Ins” and a couple of other folders that had plug-in extensions, but no VST folder. Note – that in Vegas – when I went to the VST folder thru the “View” Plug-ins menu, my VST folder was there, but empty. Once I created the new folder and navigated there, I was able to see BIAS.

What should have happened was when you installed BIAS Sound Soap, it would have asked you to identify the VST folder. The default is “C:\Program Files\Vstplugins”. Then you would have pointed Vegas to this folder.

Make sure that when you install future VST plug-ins, you place them in the same folder so that Vegas sees them.
