Thinking about upgrading from SVP9 TO 12. Can anyone shed any light on the major differences between the two? Is it just a change in functions and more editing options?

Specifically I’m wondering if by upgrading I can achieve a better finished product as it relates to render quality / picture quality. Didn’t know if the newer versions handle & export HD source footage better than older versions etc?

Bought a Canon XF300 with a .MXF video codec and still trying to maximize my final output for youtube videos.

    Thanks…

Dont even bother giving it a second thought, Upgrade to
Vegas 12. There are too many added functions and improvements
    to be listed here.

Appreciate the insight. is it wrong to assume that finished rendered files will improve simply by upgrading?

Almost everything will be improved Stephen, as long as
you have a decently built, well balanced computer system.
