Get Vegas Pro 10, match your project properties to your media properties and edit as normal. Vegas Pro 10 should handle GoPro media just fine. We tested it with Vegas Pro Production Assistant so that it recognizes the media cards and automatically pulls in the media and creates a project for you. So I know it works well.
