I have a scene with a spotlight that flickers for a bit and then goes out. I have a logo I’m working on for a friend with eyes that glow when the light goes out, and I have text that has an almost identical texture (just a bit darker in color) but for some reason only the texture for the eyes is visible when the light is out. My question is how do I make the text also glow when the light is out? I have tried many different things, and have noticed in a lot of cases, the glow seems to stop when a light is added and then the intensity is decreased to 0%

how are you adding the glow? by cheating some global illumination or by the post effect glow? If the latter, have you realised that the post effect analises a threshold in pixel value that computes the final effect? And as you say, you have a somehow darker texture in the text, try maybe increasing its brightness? Because it may be falling out of the threshold.

Or do the glow in post within another application, its a huge gain in options.
