    Hopefully a simple question.

I am currently playing around with the Glow effect on some text I’m working on. I wanted my glow to have a big radius but I also wanted to feather the edges somewhat so it doesn’t look as harsh and end so abruptly. I’m struggling to encompass both the intense, big radius and a feathered edge. Is there anyway I can get the glow I want and then feather the edges? Or is there a good plugin for dealing with glow? I’ve been playing with the AE ‘Glow’ for sometime and unless I’m missing something (quite probable) I’m having no luck.

    Thanks very much.

You could apply more than one instance of the effect, layering them to get the result that you want.
