I have a graphic logo which is overlayed on live action images. The graphic file has been reduced in size to suit the shot, and i am trying to add a Glow behind the logo.

The problem i am seeing is that the glow is being cutoff by the graphic files bounding box, which is fairly close to the edges of the logo and hence making the glow unusable.

I think there is probably a simple solution – its just eluding me right now….any suggestions please?

I am using the FCP version of the Sapphire plugins.

    Hi Adam,

If a plug-in is applied to an FCP layer that is smaller than the final output, the plug-in will still only affect the area within that layer’s size, and sometimes appear to be cut off. To extend the effect beyond the edges, just make a nest from the layer and apply the plug-in to the nest.

    Regards,

    Todd
