  glow additive dissolve effect

  I’m looking to create a transition effect that I see in lots of videos. It is a transition effect that causes one clip to glow and sort of “burn out” as it dissolves to the next clip.

  I have tried various ideas, but have not been satisfied with the result.

  Is it a combination of effects, a plug in, ?? If there is a short-cut method to create this, I’d love to hear it.
