    This is likely not an After Effects question, however I find this forum best for getting the ball rolling. I am looking to replicate the exact effect shown in the attached YouTube video. I am a novice Blender user – can someone at the very least point me in the right direction?

    It doesn’t look like it unwraps fully, so perhaps the texture size (or UV coordinates) are being shrunk while the globe radius is being enlarged?
