I have a scene with a lot of extruded objects. I have instances of these objects to make things easier as I have over 100 of these objects.

Im working at 1280×720, and when I switch on the GI or even AO, it crashes when it goes to render the scene.

    What am I doing wrong???

You’re probably running out of memory. Unless your extrusions are animated, I’d convert them to polygons before instancing and see if that helps. Also check your scene poly count and see if you can’t cut it down somehow.
