  Glitchy Quicktime Screen Recordings in Premiere

  Hi,

  I’m having issues trying to play quicktime screen recordings in Premiere. It either skips, or glitches, or has green showing up screen):

  I’VE TRIED:

  -transcoding it to Prores in Media Encoder

  -Changing the Audio Hardware Default Input setting to “no input”

  -Clearing my cache and preview files

  -restarting premiere and my computer multiple times

  -recording multiple screen recordings to see if anything changes

  -changing the MPEG Source Settings to “smooth video motion”

  MY CURRENT COMPUTER SETTINGS ARE:

  Mac Catalina 10.15.7 (latest update)

  MacBook Pro Retina

  Processor: 2.5 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i7

  Memory 16GB

  Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2GB

  Intel Iris Pro 1526 MB

  Premiere Pro 2020 (14.4.0) (all the Adobe apps I have are up to date)

  Quicktime 10.5 (1015.2.1)
