I have a project that i used a strobe effect on to make it look less “video-y”, and it looks fine on a normal 4:3 television. But now we just got a new Panasonic widescreen plasma tv, popped the DVD in and the picture is showing glitchy/pixellated sections of video, more noticeable on certain shots than others. We shot and captured everything in 4:3 standard SD.
I then took the strobe/sharpen effect off, and it greatly reduced this pixellation, but yet it is still noticeable.. I’m wondering if there is a compressor or DVDSP setting that I am missing, or if it is something deeper than that. I don’t know if strobe is only good for interlaced/CRT ?

Thanks, and I hope I was making sense. Didn’t really see this issue posted on any other forum?
