Hey, I just got my hands on Davinci Resolve lite 9.1.1. It’s pretty great so far. I ran into an issue today were it seems if I go to key or isolate colors to a node the frame freaks out and changes to blue. (So, say I have just keyed the highlights in someones face those highlights glitch out and turn Bright blue. When I change to the Conform window it’s still there. I tried restarting the application, then my system and still glitchy. Has anyone else noticed this?

    I’m running a 27inch iMac with a 3.4 GHz Intel Corei7
32GB of RAM and a AMD RADEON HD 6970M Graphics card
Also, on OS X Lion 10.7.5

    Thanks!

Update to 10.8.2. There is a long present bug in 10.7.5 when using an ATI card.

Yes! I figured this out about 20 minutes after I originally posted. I wasn’t planning on updating my OS just yet. But as I am addicted to learning the Davinci I had no choice. Installed. Up and running. That issue is totally fixed.

One more quick question: What’s the best way to increase contrast in my picture? Still learning all the different options there are with this amazing program.

    Thanks!

There are two direct ways. If you’re in a 3-way grade. Drop lift and raise gain, contrast. In a log grade, increase the contrast slider.
