I have been having problems with my audio tracks making popping noises that don’t show up on the audio waveform and that were brought in clean. When I create a new sequence to switch projects from 16:9 to 4:3, I select the sequence from the browser and drag it to a new timeline to make it full screen 4:3, this is when I get the audio problems. It also happens if I copy the entire timeline to a new timeline. The Audio pops are not in the original sequence but always show up when I copy to a new sequence. I have also made sure that my bit rates are the same for the both the original audio and the copied audio.

The other problem I have been having is exporting Quicktime Movies Self-Contained I randomly get complete audio drop-outs in the exported pieces. With-out changing any settings I will have to re-export two or three times until the drop-outs magically disappear.

I have been a FCP user since version 2 so glitches are nothing new but are becoming increasingly tiresome.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.
    Thank you for your time.
