    Hi,
I’m running FCP 5.0.1 on a client’s 1.67GHz, 1.5GB RAM G5 and am having FCP glitches such as:
    – certain (not all, it’s random) audio fades do not affect levels at all and some audio clips that are dipped to infinite quiet pop in and out.
-when I scroll down over my video tracks with my mouse roll button, V1 duplicates again and again over the higher video tracks. These extra tracks disappear, however, when I zoom in and out of the timeline using the zoom tool.
    – when I zoom in and out of the timeline using the resize bar at the bottom of the timeline, certain video clips disappear.
I have trashed my preferences, plist and have run permissions and reinstalled FCP as well as zapping the pram. Any other suggestions? Do these errors indicate a certain kind of problem like a corrupt project, not enough RAM, or other?
    Thanks very much,
    Ewin

    [ellaella] “I’m running FCP 5.0.1”

Certainly update to at least 5.0.3 or all the way up to 5.0.4 as many bugs and glitches have been fixed since .1
