I’m doing a piece that has a series of stills (most are resized & have slow zooms)

When I dissolve between two still frames there is a glitch after the last frame of the dissolve.
Has any one else had this problem?

It looks as though the frames within the dissolve are slightly blurred . . . . then they get suddenly sharper on the first frame after the dissolve has finished

I’ve also tried putting the stills on two seprate video tracks and fading one up and the other down simultaniously and I still have the same problem.

This happens even if everything is rendered

    Hi Rory,
    Try setting “Render in RGB”.

Are your stills PSDs? Make sure they are rendered in their own layer timeline if so. Watch for where your keyframes are in the zoom moves, etc. Maybe stretch the keyframes so that they don’t appear on the frames where the dissolves are having the problem. Also, try rendering out your stills with the moves as uncompressed MOVs (or Final Cut MOV files for smaller file size) and then bringing them back into Final Cut to do the dissolves. Just a couple of thoughts, hopefully one of them helps!
