I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem, and whether there is a solution. I am using Glintwerks in AECS3 on an Intel Mac running 10.5.6. It causes the program to crash intermittently, even if the effect is turned off. Also, when rendering, it seems to inhibit After Effects from moving to the next item in the queue if it is applied within any comps in the queue.

I suppose the best solution would be to not use this plug-in, but I really like the look of it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

    Hi Jody.

First, make sure that you’re using the current version of The Werks (currently at 1.5.0):
    https://zaxwerks.com/download

Secondly, if you could send me one or two of your sample scenes with a few instructions to follow, I’d be happy to take a look. I should only need the .aep file – no media files necessary.

    Send files to: matt@zaxwerks.com

    Thanks.

Jody, try turning off the Multiprocessor in the Preferences and see if it still crashes.
