glich in dvd studio pro
Need some expertise
Trying to burn a 2 and a half hour program on dvd studio pro,we are using the dual layer dvd 8.5 gb have been using the verbatim discs dvd r-
we just upgraded out burner to be able to burn the dual layer
the segments are 40 minutes , 40 minutes, 40 minutes and 30 minutes
we have tried 3 times to burn,once on some elses G 5 , got a digital hit on lower 1/3 of screen, checked in simulator its not there, then 2 other times we had the dvd player in a computer freeze up at 30 minutes, then another time at 26 minutes we can’t seem to get thru the third segment
we have a g-4, am thinking about re writing and then re burning there doesnt seem to be a problem in the project , we have an anxious client, your thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have tried to post it there, but it hasnt shown up, new to the list, don’t know if I am doing something wrong

If you feel sure you’ve authored it correctly and that it is a burning/writing issue, and you have a client breathing down your neck, can you save it as a disc image (.img file) copy it to an external HDD and take it to someone else to burn?
That may help you meet this client’s deadline until you sort out the problem…
