I am trying to get a nice clear glass look on a flat object. Can someone tell me what kind of textures, colors and transparency to use. I can’t seem to get the look I want and I have seen some fantastic glass looks on the zaxwerks gallery alone. Also is there any place to download custom textures and object styles.
    Thanks,

Take a look at my most recent post on motionworks.com.au. I created some glass text for Bio Close-up. If you like the look I’ll email you the Object Style.

I am looking for something less “frosted”. I would still love the style if you can send it.
    Thanks,

There are two glass material swatches in the material presets panel, one is green and one is blue. I usually start with one of these and play around with the transparency settings, color and reflectivity. I’ll email that file, you may find it less smoky if you decrease the Reflectivity setting. You’ll need to install the custom Graphic Skyground_grey.tga file into the Environments folder also.
