    Hi all,
I normally use C4D for motion graphics work but I have a job where I have to make some more ‘real world’ stuff. I’m trying to model a simple glass with liquid in it. For some reason I’m getting crazy noise in the render. The glass on it’s own is fine, the liquid on it’s own is fine, but combined is a mess. Here’s a simple image just with default lighting to show you what I mean. I have no idea what the problem might be. Anyone any ideas? I am just using a preset glass material.
    Cheers,
    Phil

Think I fixed it – the liquid and the inner glass polys were in the exact same space. I scaled down the liquid a touch and it works fine.
    Cheers,
    Phil

you can also scale the liquid up a bit (just into the glass)
