glass globe
I would very much like to make the glass globe bij Kurt Murphy, but i get stuck at the very beginning: how do i get the paths you draw in Photoshop as masks on a solid in AE.

I didn’t read the tutorial. But I think you should use you ‘direct selection’ tool (white arrow) to select the mask, then copy, and finally select the solid in AE and just paste. I think that should work. (At least that’s how it works in Illustrator.)
