Giving and image 3D “Thickness”
Posted by Msobetzko on May 16, 2005 at 5:01 pmI want to use photo images in a 3D evironment. The photos should look like they are cardboard cut outs that have some “thickness”. How can I add this depth to a photo?

May 16, 2005 at 8:07 pmapply the shatter effect to the layer, but adjust the depth/radius/strength parameters so that the layer doesn’t explode. then adjust the extrude thickness parameter to your liking. shatter can also recognize the movements and perspective of a 3d camera layer in the same comp.
