    Hi!

I’m having an issue with gif quality exporting from AE 2019 through AME 2019.
I have tried using Animated Gif (Match Source) as the export settings, and also custom: frame rate 25 (originally 29.97fps), Render at maximum depth, Use maximum render quality, square pixels, Progressive, 100% quality as settings.
I’ve tried rendering straight from AE, and also rendering as quicktime (looks fine), and then dropping that into AME, but that doesn’t seem to help at all.

Here’s an example. It degrades both the photo image and also sometimes the solid color (although not in other colors). The only thing I can think of is that the original illustrator file with the assets was in CMYK?

    Any help is appreciated!

AME is not great at exporting GIFs. Photoshop is excellent at it, so I’d use that. You could always use AME to export your video as an .mp4 to pull into Photoshop to create your GIF.

Also, I don’t believe a GIF supports CMYK profile.
