I have gh4 with 12-35 f2.8 lens. Im trying with recording on cinema 4k 24fps. Im new in that and I dont know why I keep getting this staccato effect (the video is not working smooth) when I watch the clip on my computer. I always use 2x shutter speed (1/50 on 24fps) with ND variable filter and I also bought very fast SD card U3 (150mb/sec). Im using mac mini 2,4 mhz, 16gigs of ram and ssd disc. Im trying to downscale the video to 1080p and when I export it I still got that effect. I spent 14 days with that and I cant find the solution.

The camera is updated to last firmware.

Is it normal that I see staccato on GH4 display when Im moving my camera with tripod (fluid head)? Live view mode is set to 60fps.

    Please help!

Marko; posting some footage for us to see would help us diagnose the problem.

Marko, this (staccato/stutter) is normal when shooting 24fps, when panning too fast. Try slowing your pan.

Hey. I got tones of informations in that time and I also found the solution. You are right. The problem was In fast panning. Im still doing on that but the videos are better and better.

    Thanks all for answers!

    Cheers
