GH3 Footage ?
Hello to all…just started using my new GH3 after using a 7D…I shot 1080 30p @ 72Mbps all I-frame…imported and selected “optimize video” on import…
what actually happens in the optimize part…does it convert to ProRez?…LT, HQ..should I be doing something different?

It’s just going to be pro res 422 not (HQ) but unless you plan on some hardcore Resolve coloring, effects, green screen etc, you’ll be totally find with that. Back up those camera masters on Bluray or tape and forget about em!
