I’m trying to copy across a content folder to my PC, did it to my Mac with no problem, but when I try and do it to my laptop, everything seems to be going fine, if not a little slow and then it tells me it cannot copy a certain file because it has been externally altered and when I go to the folder it’s copying to it has only done 1 file into the video folder and nothing else.

    Just wondering what that means?

    Many thanks

Can you give a little better description as to what you are doing.

Are you going from the camera to a Windows PC attached via USB? and you are doing a straight copying of the P2 card? Does this same P2 card copy fine to a Mac System?

Sorry Michael, I’ll try and be more clear

I’m attaching the camera via a 4 to 4 pin firewire port to my PC laptop and then I click on the P2 icon and try to copy the contents folder along with the clip.txt doc over to a folder on my desktop.

When I do the same thing on the Mac it works fine.

Try the USB connection. FW should work, but the USB is for PCs and the FW for Macs.

I’ll try that, I think I need a new cable as I couldn’t fine one with the tiny connector for the camera end.
