Getting some glitchy issues updating text with Master Properties… video below.
I’m experimenting with UI mockups.
In the video, you can see that there are multiple keyframes indicating when the text is supposed to change as the in-video cursor selects each item. But the text either changes too late, doesn’t change at all, or spazzes out (especially towards the end, where it flickers from “Medicine” to “Tarantula” for a few frames).
I have expressions set up to change the width of the bubble (among other things), and you can see the width changing to match the width of the text it’s supposed to be changing to. But the text itself doesn’t change at the right moment.
Any idea what might be causing this?
I’ve attempted Purging Memory and Disk Cache and such already. No luck 🙁

Figured out a workaround of simply duplicating the comp, removing all keyframes, and setting the values per duplicate instead of having it all on one comp. It’s making my timeline a mess, but it at least gets the job done.
If anyone still knows how to fix this issue without a workaround I’m all ears.
