  • Getting rid of the zoom cursor?

Posted by Sverker Hahn on September 3, 2008 at 6:36 pm

New problem: somehow my cursor turns into a magnifying glass. I don´t want it. I can remove it by closing FCP and open it again. Not the best solution.

How do I get rid of it?

Why did it appear in the first place (I have high speed on the keyboard and must have slipped with my finger)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Sverker Hahn, Stockholm

    Solved it!!!

In the toolbar, the zoom control was activated. I obviously pressed “Z” to get the zoom cursor …

    Thank myself … 🙂

    Hi Shane!

I didn´t see your post when I wrote “Thank myself”.

    Have never used “A”.

Where do I find keyboard shortcuts? 100s of hits in the help …

Press alt+H in FCP to bring up a window with all the keyboard shortcuts. You can also change them to suit you better, and search for ones you’re looking for.
