Getting rid of one channel of stereo audio track
Hi,
I have following problem: a Pal clip, which comes with a Stereo Channel in the Audio. The two channels are connected, so what I usually do – since I just need the one side (with the wireless neck MIC recording), I lock this channel, erase the other one. Double the good one and paste it on the other channel. But for some reason, I manage neither locking one channel and erasing the other one, nor Unlinking them both.
What can I do?

Select the clip in your sequence, then in the modify menu uncheck “stereo pair”. Then uncheck the linking button in the timeline window. You should then be able to remove a single track and duplicate the good one if necessary.
