Getting multitrack audio out of MultiCam project possible
Posted by James Ewart on September 9, 2014 at 2:41 pmDoes X2Pro solve this problem and allow me to export al 11 audio channels from my project in tact for mixing elsewhere please?
I’ve even tried copying and pasting all my synched tracks from the angle editor into a new project timeline but hat didn’t help the situation much! (Thought it might have been a brilliant idea!)
Thanks
James

September 9, 2014 at 2:54 pmYou’ll want to read up on ROLES and how to export multi-track Quicktimes with them.

Do you need all 11 channels or do you want all of your edited clips with handles?

September 9, 2014 at 5:06 pmI’d really like the lot ideally to give to somebody to try and make some kind of decent mix of all of it. Might be able to narrow it down to 8.

I’m playing with roles and sub roles seeing if that can get it out but if X2pro can “find” my audio, keep it in sync and output it as wav or aiff files then that’s probably best.

September 9, 2014 at 5:25 pmTo be clear, X2Pro presents all of your clips as edited in an AAF container for use in ProTools.
It doesn’t make traditional aiff or wav files.
