Getting Media Start from imported file
This is a scripting/expression question and it’s really got me stumped. I have hundreds of comps to script and the base layer are MTS files. I need to generate each comp using the same timecode as the base layer.
However i’ve not been able to work out how to read the start time code for a footage item.
If i import the MTS and manually drag it onto a Comp that works
If i expand the project window i can see Media Start/In Point for the footage and that’s correctHowever i’ve not been able to get these values in expressions or scripting form, i’ve found no reference anywhere and everything i’ve tried has failed so far.
