Getting different line width in same text box

I use a method that uses 1 very simple expression on a 2nd text-layer.

`Just a pickwhip of the sourcetext of the original.

On the duplicate textlayer add a textanimator with “character value” to change every character into a “|” or “N” or “0” character, then use minimax effects on alpha to connect everything.

(The “H” and “V” effects you see in the screengrab are also minimax effects, one set to horizontal only, the other to vertical only for finetuning)
