Getting Decklink Extreme Audio in to work
I’m running it on G5 2.5ghz. FCP 5.1.2. This is what I want to do. I want to hook up my small mackie mixer’s “Main Outs” to the Decklink via xlr left and right (from deck). So that I can record whatever audio into Final Cut or other programs. I went into System Preferences and made sure to select the Decklink as the source for the input. Usually there is activity on the meter to show that it is active but for some reason I get nothing. In Final Cut “Voice Over Tool,” I get nothing. Same thing with Soundtrack and other programs. What am I doing wrong. Or is there no way that I can do this with the decklink extreme card? Any help and clarification will be greatly appreciated.
