  • Getting correct white balance for real estate/ interior videography

I create real estate videos using my Canon 7D and 10-22mm Canon lens. I’m having trouble getting the right white balance.

It varies from room to room depending on amount of natural lights coming through windows and artificial lights.

I set the temperature manually in the camera by look and feel of the room and occasionally use an app on my phone that takes a picture of a white card. This isn’t working as when it comes to the edit, everything is slightly off!

What is the best way for me to set the white balance?

Maybe keeping in auto or setting an in camera custom white balance using white paper? or maybe looking to purchase a budget light meter?
