    Hi

    FCP 5
    G5

I imported a quicktime movie and I’m getting motion lines during playback….it’s comparable to the problem in After Effects when you don’t set your movie files to “Lower Fields.” Is there a simple way of solving this in FCp 5? It’s like I’m seeing 2 fields during the action parts of my clips.

    thanks

Are you seeing this on the external monitor?

Are your FCP windows sized to 25%, 50% or a round number instead of “fit to all”.

With the little info you have posted these are my best guesses.

Please take the time to be a bit more clear with your requests.

    David

    Peace and Love 🙂

thanks David and yeah…I was rushed so I apologize.

It’s all internal–no external monitors….and I’m not sizing the viewing window too big. The quicktime I imported palys fine (no dble field lines) when it’s on the desktop…maybe I’m importing it wrong?

    thanks
