Getting back deleted audio
Posted by Mark Palmer on October 19, 2007 at 3:12 pmI put a clip on the timeline, unlinked the audio, and then deleted the audio before editing the clip. Is there any way to put the audio back with the edited clip?

Bouncing Account needs new email address
October 20, 2007 at 3:41 amPark the cursor on the first frame of the clip you want, and hit the “F” key, that will match-frame the clip on the timeline to the original clip (that has the audio.)
Then, just edit the audio track(s) back on.

How to do this? “
Anyone else want to take a swing at this one?

December 17, 2010 at 7:58 pmI know this is old, however it came up first in a Google search so I will add on to it. I was wondering the same thing. F for match frame got me close. I then disconnected the connector on the video track and then dragged the little hand over the arrow pointer down onto the track. I know there must be an easier way but it wasn’t intuitive. Either way, it works for now.
