  • Getting accurate aspect ratios from .psd’s and jpegs

When I bring in .psd files into my Motion project file (which has 720p settings) the image looks distorted- that is stretched out at the sides so everything looks fatter. What are the image dimension settings I would need to save the .psd file as to get the image to look true to life, or at least true to how the image looks in Photoshop?

    Thanks.

720 should be 1280X720. Your motion comp should have the same dimensions. Your output may have different dimensions, depending on codec. Motion will scale the ouput properly in most cases.
