  Getting a specific values from another composition marker

  Hi !

  I’ve been lurking in the forum to seek out the solution and got it, but unfortunately, I am missing something.

  Basically I have a :

  composition: A, containing a layer with a split marker that define a movement duration. The position of the marker is can and ;probably will, change

  composition : B, containing the moving object.

  So, I look to get the value of the object in comp B at the time of the marker in comp A

  I thought this code a found on the forum would work, but I might be missing a lot

  Thx for any help.

  t = thisComp.layer("Cntrl Cam 002").marker.Key("markername001").time;

  thisComp.layer("Cntrl Cam 002").transform.orientation.valueAtTime(t);

  //my version

  t = Comp("_CONTROL_PANNEL_CTRL").layer("Grid_Preview").marker.Key("Move").time;

  Comp("test").layer("Spin").transform.yPosition.valueAtTime(t);
