geometry based shader OR geometry retracer? reconstruct an object out of berries
Hello!
I have a mesh that I made that I would like to populate with berries ( a cartoon human form) ~ I would basically like to replace the mesh with an approximation of the mesh reconstructed out of berries, as if you had the body sculpted out of a pile of fruit
What is the best way to achieve something like this in c4d in a quick and dirty way? I am okay with if there are strange artifacts etc if this means a less neurotic mesh re-interpretation process- I’m wondering if the approach would be to use a volumetric geometry based shader of a berry, a shader with a displacement map, or using some other functionality of c4d to reconstruct the body mesh out of clones of the berry mesh
