Curious if anyone has any experience using the Lift function to control surfaces. I’ve seen the youtube tutorial where the guy makes a prop plane fly off (the prop being the only control), and that one post where the guy shows a frame grab of two different airfoils (no animation, no settings shared, etc), but nothing else. I realize that C4D isn’t Solidworks, but it seems like there still might be a way to simulate lift in a predictable way (i.e. using wind to change the direction of a model in a controllable way).

I get how to adjust the parameters and how to make it blow stuff around, I’m specifically wondering if anyone has more than basic experience using the tool. Thanks.

When I first saw that feature being introduced, I thought it was really neat, but I have not had time to mess with it much. I think someone showed using it to blow papers around in a Siggraph/IBC/NAB Maxon presentation, but it was a few years ago.
