generating clip images
I pulled the firewire plug on a hard drive, quite FCP5 without saving and restarted. A few of my icons in the clips in video track do not show up (get RED media offline), but they play fine. There is a slick trick to regenerate these little images that show for each clip. Anyone know it?

Yeah, look in your scratch disk settings for wherer your “Thumbnails” are being saved… trash this cache file, and it will rebuild.
