    hey guys
i remember back in premiere 6 there was a way to generate a text file that listed all of the files used in the project, and was useful for figuring out what was safe to delete. is there still a way to do this in ppro2?
    thanks

Just sort by the column that tells you how many times the footage is used in the project. All of the unused clips will be at the top or bottom of the list. If it has not been used, it is safe to delete it from the project.

right, but when you have several dozen different bins and folders, that gets pretty tedious. the old version would just generate a nice specific list of everything all at once. oh well

Well, that is when you use the Project Manager to create a copy of the project with just the material you have used so far.

Generating a list of files via exporting another copy of the project seems clunky and time-consuming.
