Generate streaming water effect
I need to create a shot where a fire hose appears in the frame and then a stream of water (with alot of force) comes out of the hose. Any ideas on a simple way to simulate the water stream or any 3rd party generators for after effects that would have something like this? (because of limitations I need to do this in after effects).

Does anyone else have any advice I looked at the particle plugins that were suggested. I am not very familiar with using particle generators and it does not look like they have a preset of water that I am looking for. Does anyone know of any footage of water streams (something that would look like it is coming out of a firehose) that has already been matted out?
