I am experimenting with settings for exporting and old DV (avi) documentary film to a file that is accepted both by ipads and android devices. Anyone with experience here?
The documentary was shot on Beta SP and converted to DV/avi wich is the format I currently have.
In my case I will prefer a large file with good quality. Render time is no issue, as I only have one film to process.
I have tried to deinterlace the video (european PAL), wich produces a good quality mp4 film when played on a laptop. But my Galaxy Tab 10.1 refuses this file. The standard settings for the iPad2 in Media Encoder and Handbrake produces large files with nonimpressive quality.
    Really grateful for advice
